KASTAR 965 Construction Joints MS Sealant
KASTAR965 is a highly flexible cementitious moisture curing sealan. It is intended for cementitious clapboarding, metal constructions, curtain wall construction, and joint forgiving movement. KASTAR965 adhesion to difficult surfaces making it ideal to be used on anodized metal and other coatings.

KASTAR965 is a highly flexible moisture-curing sealant intended for cementitious cladding, metalwork, curtain walling, and all joints likely to experience movement. The ability to bond with hard surfaces gives KASTAR 965 adhesion to anodized metal and coatings. KASTAR965 will not streak on absorbent stone substrates such as limestone or marble. The polyether chemistry of Kastar965 does not generate out-gassing on green concrete and has a safeguard against ‘browning’ or the reaction of the affected product to ultraviolet light/ discolor.
- They are solvent-free and 100% solids while some systems will shrink.
- Non-slump, Used in vertical and overhead application
- Outgassing on fresh seed is not experienced on damp surfaces
- There is a plethora of roofing and siding colors available
- UV-resistance; will not fade or suntan.
- Paintable within 24 hours (with them, some disadvantages)
- +/- 25% joint movement
It has a good adhesive strength without primer on most common materials including wall and roof tiles, internal and external doors, furniture, window frames, parquet floors, windows and doors, deck, beams, switch and socket, holders, gate and railing, mold for wooden, EPS Foam, Metal such as aluminum, zinc, galvanized steel, stainless steel, copper, natural stone, concrete, brick, PVC plastic, ABS, etc.
