KASTAR 966 High Elastic MS Polymer Sealant
KASTAR966 is formulated with silane cross-linked modified Polyether as a Core enzyme. This is a joint sealant of type SBR exhibiting the characteristics of a low-modulus single component with high movement capacity. The product has excellent bond strength, moreover, it also has primer-less adhesion on various types of substrate.

It is of Hybrid Silyl Modified Polyether Technology generation of KASTAR966. The product is a neutral, one-parted, low modulus of elasticity with high rise capability for joint sealant. It has very high bond strength and can bond directly on the surface of various types of material namely substrates. It can be painted with most kinds of paints and the material has excellent endurance to weather in any climate. This will not create voids within the sealant especially when working at high temperatures, relative humidity, or when sealed on damp surfaces. This is a highly flexible, high-performance elastic sealant that can be used in all types and classes of applications and environments.

Hybrid adhesive sealant (modern analog of MS-polymers) has high operating characteristics: permanently elastic high-strength and durable joint; elastic for the whole service life; ideal for connecting two materials belonging to different thermal expansion coefficient ranges. Weather and temperature-resistant, thixotropic – will not flow/drip down the joint. After curing it is permissible to paint with water-soluble and synthetic paints, with solvent-based paints – use a trial.
