Kastar 978 fireproof MS polymer sealant is a series of high-performance fireproof sealing materials based on advanced MS polymer technology, equipped with excellent fireproof, smokeproof, gas impenetrability, and many other functions. Special high-temperature-resistant adhesives can continue to maintain good performance in a high-temperature environment, and after solidification, the high-temperature-resistant, strong, and elastic sealing layer is formed to prevent the expansion of flames, smoke, and toxic and harmful gases. Kastar 978 is versatile, highly adhesive, and can be used on many surfaces such as metal concrete, glass wood, etc. Due to good weathering and long-term stability characteristics, it is applicable for sealing construction, industrial, and fire protection applications. This product conforms with the following international fire protection standards and can be used as an effective material to achieve the fire safety of buildings. The unopened pack has a shorter shelf life of 12 months and should be kept in a cool dry place.

  • Fireproof performance: It can accomplish the roles of checking the flaming, smoking as well as toxic gases in a comprehensive way and satisfy higher fire safety standards.
