KASTAR 283 Fire Rated Sealant – High Performance
Kastar Fire Rated Acrylic Sealant is produced for joints indoors that need fire rating. It is used in building constructions, drywall systems, door and window surround, ceiling, cable management, wood, uPVC, and more. Fire Rated Acrylic Sealant offers a reliable fire and smoke barrier and contributes to safety factors in critical zones.

Kastar 283 Acrylic FireStop Sealant is a high-performance single-part, non-sag, fire-rated acrylic of the highest order developed for construction joints/seams as well as for fire-stopping service penetrations. Designed for use on plasterboard, concrete, and masonry walls, upon curing, this sealant provides a high-performing elastomeric seal that does not allow fire, smoke, or sound to penetrate. Kastar 283 is also an acoustic fire sealant, able to protect against both fire and sound transmission.
