Kastar Swimming pool grout is Polyaspartic polyurea resin with isocyanate hardener and two parts that have very good performance weather resistance superior waterproof and free working characteristics for outside or inside tile grouting joints. Especially available for wet areas, such as bathrooms, and kitchens. In general, KASTAR swimming pool grout is yellowing resistant while Epoxy-based grout has been Waterproof for 50 years. Also is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, has high tack, is chemical resistant, and free from benzene and phenol. Hence it is popularly used outdoors as well as in swimming pools also.
Swimming pools: Recommended for use as grout and sealant in jointless interior and exterior floor/wall designs for swimming pools to reduce penetration of water. Applying cement between tiles or shower walls using the grouted tile for waterproof and mildew functions in spa pools and hot spring pools.
Bathrooms and saunas: Separation of bathroom walls and floors from direct contact with water by grouting between tile joints to avoid harvest of mold and soil. Applicable to tile and stone decoration of public buildings and places like bathrooms, kitchens, and the exterior of buildings to enhance their appearance and long life.
Kitchens and commercial spaces: Cleaning grout tiles in food processing areas and commercial kitchens with some easy-to-maintain, long-lasting material. The material is perfect for commercial decoration and high-load use in high-humidity usage areas.
KASTAR Pool Tile Grout is specifically designed to give your pool and wet area tiles a durable and long-lasting grouting system for your tiles that has high water resistance so your tiles will stay in good shape for many years.
1. Twist off the cover of the bottle.
2. According to the grout gap, cut the mouth of the nozzle.
3. Fix the nozzle to the bottle.
4. Load the bottle into the cauking gun.
5. Remove all foreign and excessive adhesive from the groutgap,preferably using a vacuum cleaner.
6. Squeeze about 30cm in volume of the sealant from the nozzletip and discard.
7. Squeeze the grout into the tile gap.
8. Repeat the same if required.
9. Use the ball shape to press into the grout gap.
10. Keep for approximately 16 hours.
11. Remove the excess grout with the blade scraper.
12. Use the masking tapes or wax along the tile edges for roughtiles before grouting.
