KASTAR 286 Fireproof Acrylic Sealant – Heat Resistant
KASTAR Fireproof Acrylic Sealant is a premium performance fire barrier system. It prevents fire, smoke, and water penetration through structures and surfaces. For its fire resistance, KASTAR 286 has undergone tests on different joint widths and has a fire rating of between 1 to 4 hours. Designed for perimeter pointing and sealing fire rescue structures, it also provides an excellent MVHR joint movement allowance of ±25%. Also, the Fireproof Acrylic Sealant provides fire resistance to indoor joints, that do not allow flames and smoke to pass through them, and has a joint movement capability of up to ±12.5%.
